We’ll check for your existing device record when you join. If your details aren’t on HRI, you can send us a copy of your hospital-issued device card so we can create your record.
An engraved bracelet can indicate that you have a pacemaker. Your HRI device ID identifies which device you have and connects you to the record behind it.

Can I help a parent or partner join?
Yes. You can help them choose a plan and complete online sign-up together. If they want to share information with you, they can nominate you as a trusted contact in the app. You receive read-only access to the information they choose to share.
Can I buy a replacement card without membership?
Yes. A one-off printed cardiac device ID card is €30, online, by phone or by post. It is a single purchase with no automatic renewal. HRI Plus membership includes free replacements of your card, wristband and key fobs.
Who is HRI Plus for?
People living with a cardiac device, including a pacemaker, ICD, CRT device or implantable loop recorder.
What if my device isn’t on the HRI registry?
We can create your record from the device details and proof of implant you provide, such as your hospital-issued device card.
Do I need to use the app?
No. You can use your printed device card, wristband and key fobs without a smartphone. The full app is an additional part of HRI Plus membership.
Who can see information I share through the app?
A trusted contact receives read-only access to selected information. When you grant clinician access, your device record is included automatically. You choose which additional medical details to include and the access duration. You can revoke access.
How do membership payments work?
HRI Plus is €54.99 a year or €5.99 a month online. Standard is €20 a year online. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled. A one-off card is a single purchase without a membership.
Is HRI Plus an emergency or monitoring service?
No. HRI Plus is an information and identification service. It does not provide emergency response, medical advice or treatment, and does not replace your hospital or cardiology team. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
